What's the difference between an arrangement and transcription?
Arrangement: "A musical reconceptualization of a previously composed work. It may differ from the original work by means of reharmonization, melodic paraphrasing, orchestration, or development of the formal structure." (Thanks Wikipedia)
TL;DR It's reimagining another work.
Transcription: Direct notation of a piece - essentially figuring out the sheet music for a piece.
Pricing
Prices are determined on a case by case basis.
The price of each commission is determined by a variety of factors, listed below.
However, no arrangement or transcription will be priced for less than $25 USD.
The more there are of the following, the pricier the commission will be.
Long original pieceLarger instrumentationMedleys (for arrangements)
You will have an option for sheet music or higher-quality music playback. If you choose both, there is an extra fee.
After initial discussion of pricing, a 50% initial deposit through PayPal will be required.
